On startup and shutdown I have been receiving messages which read as follows: /etc/rc2.d/S10sysklogd <S10netbase><S12kerneld><etc>:/usr/sbin/start-stop-daemon: no such file or directory.
Being relatively new to Debian, I do not understand the meaning of these messages. It could be that they are not relative to my particular setup. I run Debian on a laptop machine and in general the system runs perfectly. I would appreciate any information you could provide. Many thanks: Joe
