I'm trying to configure my modem and, as recommended in the Serial-HOWTO, I've been using kermit to test it out. Problem is that /dev/ttyS1, which is the serial port my modem is on, seems to only allow root access. Anyone recommend a fix? Also any tips on mgetty setup would be appreciated.
