Is it possible to use an NIS-Server from a Client on a different subnet? In the "old" NIS implementation there was a /etc/yp.conf in which I could set "ypserver nis-master". This is no longer used by the "new" ypbind. I tried "ypbind -S mydomain,nis-master" but it still doesn't bind.
