That sounds quite strange. However, I don't have that error at all. I have kernel-source-2.6.8 version 2.6.8-16 installed. It could be possible that the file was placed across a bad sector on your harddrive. Try running a self test (use the smartmontools package) on your disk. -Roberto -- Roberto C.
