This is correct. } and here's an example command i'm using to try to mount along with it's } output: } } [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ mount -t auto /dev/hdc /media/cdrom0 } mount: only root can do that mount /media/cdrom0 You see, only root is allowed to give extra options or specify what is being mounted to the given mount point. If you just ask it to mount what belongs on /media/cdrom0, any user has permission.
