Installing BOINC (Was KDE, Kernel, Varia Downloading and Installing)

Allow me to go in to this one by one. Firslty, Boinc.

Alright. Here is what I did.

# cd /home/david/BOINC
# gunzip boinc_4.19_i686-pc-linux-gnu.gz
# chmod a+x boinc_4.19_i686-pc-linux-gnu
# boinc_4.19_i686-pc-linux-gnu -attach_project  http://setiathome.berkeley.edu b151599a701963ef98f16ac804e1b9ee
bash: boinc_4.19_i686-pc-linux-gnu: command not found

It does not need to be tarred, the installation file is boinc_4.19_i686-pc-linux-gnu.gz. What did I do wrong?
