Please post in ASCII. Your "smart" apostrophes look weird in a true
ASCII viewer.

What means "It doesn't work"? Do you get error messages you could
post here? For instance, do this at a shell prompt:
script xstart_capture
startx&
Then send the list the CONTENTS of the file xstart_capture. (Do NOT
attach the actual file, file attachments don't work well for people
who read this list as a digest.)
