I note that ncftp is perhaps ten times bigger than ncftp2 and is a rewrite of it with ncurses being in it. And ncftp2 has no SOCKS in it. (It's barefoot?)

What is the difference between the two? Or rather, what does it mean? It appears that ncftp is more of a GUI application since ncurses seems to be necessary for terminal graphics. IIRC

    I've been shopping the packages list for woody on www.Debian.org.
