Ok, now for the embarrassing part :)

#apt-get install -f
apt-get: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot 
open shared object file: No such file or directory


Can you recommend a good way to get a replacement libstdc++ of
appropriate version without using apt-get ?
