This is a Debian list, not Redhat. How did you install it? Why would
you install vim in /export/vim63? If you install vim by using rpm on
Redhat, you should not have the problem you have described.
Maybe some reading about the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard (FHS) will
help you. On Debian it is part of the debian-policy-package.
