Neither. He's just been indoctorated by years of FreeBSD's makeworld. I got to hear him crow over how his 2nd stage was done compiling and then how fast it went away when I commented, "Y'know, I think in the same time I installed Ubuntu, Debian Woody, Ubuntu again to download and burn Progeny only to finally install Progeny and get it working in the same time he got all of stage 2 compiled. :D
