being GPL is "dangerous" ... the big boyz with $$$ can do and will
do what they want with all the (free) r/d work for the past few decades

and dangling $$$ in front of the "primary" people that controls the
servers or the infrastructure of that distro and that distro dies
overnight ( people are usually "buyable" )
        - suse is now "dead" .. and morphing into a new "novell" monster,
        nov-zilla

and remember mosaic ... which created gazillion similar permutations
of spinoffs and me too which made it into nasdaq/nyse based on
its "never been done before" but it became the norm. now lets
see what and how google methods changes how one gets "bigger"
