All of a sudden, my sound has disappeared. Can't play cds, mp3s, nothing. When I open KDE's control centre > sound & multimedia > sound system, I get the following error message:
There was an error loading the module. Details The diagnostics is: Library files for "libkcm_arts.la" not found in paths Possible reasons: An error occurred during your last KDE upgrade leaving an orphaned control module You have old third party modules lying around. Check these points carefully and try to remove the module mentioned in the error message. If this fails, consider contacting your distributor or packager. It appears to be caused by a broken upgrade (?) but I haven't found a way to solve it. Can somebody help, please?
