Probably not without a bit of work. x-window-system seems to be a meta package that doesn't really provide anything, it just depends on a bunch of other stuff - all the things that developer thought should be in a basic x-window-system - including xprt. I don't have x-window-system installed on my machine, as I wanted a little tighter control over my programs. This made uninstalling xprt* a breeze.
