Hey guys,
I'm running Sarge with 2.6.8 kernel. I've got the "udev" package installed.
Can anyone help clarify the relationship between any of the following things that may or may not be on my computer?
hotplug udev devfs hotplug automount autofs HAL sysfs procfs
I know that's a huge question, so I'll limit the questions:
- Does hotplug inform udev when a new device connects to the computer? - Does udev make use of devfs?
