Since your making reference to kde I assume you want the mouse for X instead of using with console programs (about which I know nothing). You may have to do some "find"'s and stuff, but somewhere in one of your X directories there is an x86cfg or X86Config or something like that. If you run it, it will prompt you for what kind of mouse you have (as well as all the other X setup parameters).
Alternatively, if you know your driver, etc., you can manually edit a file with (again, unfortunately, I don't remember the exact name) XFree86Cfg-4, or something like that. I am pretty sure it has a "-4" on the end. It does seem to me that this config file is located in either /etc/X11, or a subdirectory thereof. All the script in the first paragraph does is automate the editing of the config file in the second paragraph. -------------------------------- Allen -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mariusz Antonik Sent: Thursday, November 18, 2004 1:57 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Mouse ps/2 doesn't work Hi.
