Why is subversion 1.1 remaining in experimental?

I hope you don't mind, but several weeks ago I asked debian-user mailing 
list if anyone knew why subversion 1.1 was remaining in experimental and had 
not migrated into unstable. 

Unfortunately, I didn't get any meaningful reply - so I thought I would ask 
you as the package maintainer directly. 

Can you answer that question please.
