What about using the versions in testing/sarge? This way you could help test the next version of Debian with your environment. Anyway, as another recommendation, you can install the free-java-sdk package and have an environment of development quite good with sablevm (another *Free* JVM). Testing both sablevm and kaffe to make sure they work correctly with your software is a recommended thing for people trying to have Free Java in Debian. Hope this helps, Rogério Brito. -- Learn to quote e-mails decently at: http://pub.tsn.dk/how-to-quote.php http://learn.to/quote http://www.xs4all.nl/~sbpoley/toppost.htm -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
