Install kernel-image-2.6-386 as well, to upgrade to the latest 2.6 kernel. The one you use has probably been removed, because it is old. > According to /proc/cpuinfo the laptop has a "Mobile Intel(R) > Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz" does this mean I should opt for the package > 'kernel-headers-2.6-686' in stead? Install kernel-image-2.6-686 and kernel-headers-2.6-686. They should depend on the latest version. m-a should be able to get the headers automatically once you upgraded to a newer kernel. best regards Andreas Janssen -- Andreas Janssen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> PGP-Key-ID: 0xDC801674 ICQ #17079270 Registered Linux User #267976 http://www.andreas-janssen.de/debian-tipps-sarge.html -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
