If you use a precompiled kernel and want to compile software that needs the headers of the kernel you use (e.g. a device driver), you install the mathing headers package for your kernel. If you compile your own kernel, you will have the headers you need in the kernel source dir. best regards Andreas Janssen -- Andreas Janssen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> PGP-Key-ID: 0xDC801674 ICQ #17079270 Registered Linux User #267976 http://www.andreas-janssen.de/debian-tipps-sarge.html -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
