For me, it's not quite so simple. I want to game, but I'm cursed with nVidia's semi-buggy drivers and retarded licensing scheme. It would be nice if at least one manufacturer made a decent video card and *didn't* bite the hand that feeds them.
It must be that they feel no economic motivation to do so.
