You're right. I installed the sl-modem-daemon package and my modem got detected. I configured both wvdial and kppp and tried them but I'm stuck, now, to the infamous "No Dialtone" message. I've not yet used the sl-modem-source package yet till now. Do i need it here ? Or are there any configuration settings I need to look at ?
