I know about the page hosting debian versions of the ATI vid drivers where you can either build from source or use pre-built binaries. The problem is when I follow the directions (either building from source or using the prebuilt packages) I get an error at the end saying that the module was not found (when I test to make sure it all completed). I've tried several times and think perhaps I'm not doing something properly. Does anybody know of a tutorial online for installing those drivers, written in a style that somebody with limited Linux knowledge can understand? Thanks.
