You need to recompile the "fglrx" module. You can find the scripts for it in /lib/modules/fglrx, although there may be a problem there if you didn't purge this directory since the last time you compiled something in it. I would suggest removing this directory, reinstalling your generated .deb, then going into this folder and build a new kernel module.
