Hi! I am trying to install Debian 3.0 on my new PC which has a Promise FastTrak133 RAID controller to which I have attached two disks to use for mirroring. Accessing these disks from MS-DOS works fine.
When I try to boot the install cd (using the bf24 flavour), the installer claims that it does not find any FastTrak RAID controller, which makes a bit hard to install anything. The errata for Woody points to a disk with RAID drivers, but it seems to not include any for this controller (but I might be mistaken, if so, please correct me). The RAID controller is a Promise 20276 integrated on the motherboard. Please Cc me, I do not subscribe to this list due to the volume. -- \\// Peter - http://www.softwolves.pp.se/ I do not read or respond to mail with HTML attachments.
