You really don't want to start with floppies unless you absolutely have to. You might try getting a Debian CD from a friend or local Linux User's Group. If you have a high speed connection and a CD burner, I strongly suggest the new debian-installer CD, which does most of the heavy lifting for you. http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/ Failing that, if you *really* want to go the floppy route, you might want to read through the manual and start following along. http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/install.en.html If you still have some questions, you can help us help you by providing more detail. http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFBNq4TUzgNqloQMwcRAqe9AKDftBLz3NrSJdKn0TmjC7tCiHRJmQCgx7of NRXBrBT9ISFtBVrCNpvT6GE= =L+Dg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
