I'm in the process of archiving and backing up my documents, images, media, and other stuff I want to keep now, about 425MB worth of stuff. Fortunately, I haven't accumulated too much since my last oops (that was when I was checking out Linspire just to see what it was like, and it ended up wiping out my Mepis installation.) Hopefully, I'll be back up and operational in a few hours. As I had done with my last reinstall, I will be doing Mepis again, since it already has nVidia support. My big question that I have been pondering is, with an 80GB hard drive and a 13.6GB hard drive, what would be the best partitioning scheme, instead of having just one big root partition and a swap partition? Also, what would be a decent swap partition size. Originally, I set it up at a whopping 3GB, the maximum amount of RAM that my motherboard can take. But I think this may be a bit of overkill, even if I do finally start doing some online gaming as well as tinkering around with 3D modelling with Blender... -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
