No, it's an inability on your part to not check the BTS

Ah.  I see that it was submitted as a bug.  (I can never seem to 
remember about the BTS).  I also checked the bug system over at 
xmms.org.  The same bug appears to have been reported there, but in 
neither place could I find any actual answers.  I may just be thick :-)
