Hi,
I have Debian Sid, with kernel 2.4.25-1-386. Sometimes, say every 20-30 minutes, everything freezes. Thats what appears in kernel.log:

Aug 10 18:14:12 localhost kernel: sbpcd-0 [02]: Scanning 0x340 (LaserMate)...
Aug 10 18:14:45 localhost kernel: sbpcd-0 [03]: Scanning 0x340 (SoundBlaster)...
Aug 10 18:15:17 localhost kernel: sbpcd-0 [04]: No drive found.
Aug 10 18:15:24 localhost kernel: mcd: initialisation failed - No mcd device at 0x300 irq 11
Aug 10 18:15:34 localhost kernel: SJCD: Sanyo CDR-H94A cdrom driver version 1.7.
Aug 10 18:15:34 localhost kernel: SJCD: Resetting: .......... reset failed, no drive found.
Aug 10 18:15:34 localhost kernel: Trying to free nonexistent resource <00000340-00000343>
Aug 10 18:15:49 localhost kernel: optcd: unknown drive detected; aborting

This is a very *fresh* log, in fact as I was writing this message the computer freezed (argh).

This is strange, because if I do modconf, the modules SJCD, optcd e sbpcd seem to be disbled.

My computer is a AMD Athlon xp Barton 3000+, with asus Nforce2 chipset and serial ATA.

Please send suggestions, tnx :)
