At one point in time, I swear I found a program that reported the health of the CMOS battery in any computer. You just called this program, and it gave a few levels like "battery healthy", and "battery poor" (maybe it queried /dev/rtc or looked at the memory location where cmos is).
Was I dreaming, or does such a thing exist? It's not in any of the obvious places I have checked... -- TimC -- http://astronomy.swin.edu.au/staff/tconnors/ Disclaimer: This post owned by the owner -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
