For some unknown reason, everything works now. Netscape prints. Konqueror prints. lp book.ps lpq lprm lp book2.pdf
All working! I selected lazerjet4 driver. I know it didn't used to work. Seems rebooting the computer might possibly have something to do with fixing it??? CUPS and setting up printers via the K-menu works great.
