My seven-year-old rarely does windows any more. Many decent and free games run on Linux and painting programs similar to those found on windows satisfy her artiistic urge. Tuxpaint is a unique and amazing little program, BTW.
Versions of shootemups like Quake also run on Linux for those who must have them. OpenOffice and even Kword are fine. OO can read and write microsoft formats. I would not mind getting Lin4Win but I do not have the money for it and be warned, it requires kernel patches. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
