I was looking into replacing the hard disk on my debian box with a 36GB 15k Fujitsu SCSI disk. I was hoping that by doing this I would be able to reduce boot times and increase system responsiveness. I would like to hear about people's experience with SCSI disk on the desktop, and hope they could make recommendations on controllers that work well with debian.

Thanks.
