Hi Until recently, printing from Firefox and Mozilla was working fine, however, following recent upgrades first Firefox (0.8-12) baulked and later Mozilla (1.7-2) became similarly afflicted.
There are two networked printers on separate woody servers running cups and locally, I'm running cups on a Mac G4 (sid). On selecting File Print, I used to get an option "postcript/default" which would print fine to the Epson. Selecting any of the other options (xprt or specific printers caused mozilla/Firefox to crash. Now after reboot I get four options from File>Print: the two named printers and xprt versions of the same printers. The Postscript default has vanished. If I reopen the browser and select Print, I get: "There was a problem printing. No printer could be found." Is anyone else experiencing similar problems? I've googled and found references to old versions of Mozilla giving problems but nothing relating the these two current versions. One post that did relate to firefox suggested that I need xprt-xprintorg installed - it is. But cups was working fine; do I really have to configure xprt instead?.
