Hi JianZhong, Welcome to Debian! you found the best Linux! one of the great things about debian is the ability to use apt-get to get packages from the internet. But with no internet access, its a bit harder. You need to know IN ADVANCE all the pacakges to download. apt-get would do this for you if you had internet access. So, it is very likely that you need to get many other packages. To do this I recall a program called apt-zip. This should help you solve your problem. Get this program FIRST! -Kev --
