Now that I finally have my router up and running with Debian I have a formerly underpowered W2K-running 350 MHz box acting as a very OVER-powered Debian box. :) I need more work for it to do, and one of the jobs that I'm thinking of is moving the mail (SMTP/IMAP) server to it, so that I won't have to do port forwarding to get to my mail when I'm away from home. (And because the current mail server is a 133 :)
Will there be any ill effects if I just configure exim on the new box, install uwimap, and then just copy over all of the mbox files from the old mail server? TIA. -Alex
