yeah, released TODAY (go gaim!) -- and that's the version i finally
got complied this afternoon -- woohoo!
for the record, i did this by getting the source from the gaim website
for gaim 0.79, then getting all the dependencies for gaim 0.77 via
apt:
apt-get build-dep gaim=1:0.77-1
that gave me everything i needed to then do a
configure-make-makeinstall from the gaim 0.79 source.
