Hi all,
When I try to send a fax with mgetty and sendfax, I get a "no carrier"
error - see below...
F000001 $ sudo faxrunq
processing F000001/JOB...
/usr/sbin/sendfax -v 82022729 f1.g3
Trying fax device '/dev/modem'... OK.
Dialing 82022729...
/usr/sbin/sendfax: dial 82022729 failed (ERROR / NO CARRIER)
command exited with status 10
send mail to antgel...
I've been listening in on another phone on the line, and as I expected,
there is a dial tone (carrier). I can hear my modem dial, and the far
end answer, and the start of the handshake. What have I missed? I have
looked through the sendfax docs, but I can't see anything relating to
this.
