$ apt-cache search spice gnucap - GNU Circuit Analysis package gwave - a waveform viewer eg for spice simulators oregano - GNOME application for schematic capture of electrical circuits
I've installed all three packages. I ran oregano and threw in a simple circuit to try it out. The simulator returned an error because it couldn't find /usr/bin/spice3. man gnucap says "In batch mode it is mostly Spice compatible, so it is often possible to use the same file for both GNUCAP and Spice." So I changed the spice path to /usr/bin/gnucap, then got the following error passed back from gnucap: Gnucap 0.34 The Gnu Circuit Analysis Package Never trust any version less than 1.0 Copyright 1982-2002, Albert Davis Gnucap comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it under certain conditions according to the GNU General Public License.
