Hi folks,
After a 'base-config' and selecting kdm as the display manager, I can enter kde by running 'startx' from command-line. Another words the system does not come up with a gui for login. Where is the error? How to start kdm from command-line?
Cheers
Try doing a "dpkg-reconfigure kdm". Asking if you want it to be the default login manager should be one of the questions it asks you during that process.
