I ask the question, "What is the best UPS for Linux."
I don't know which one is best but I have an APC Back UPS LS-500 working fine with mine. It uses a package called apcupsd which will shutdown the computer automatically after so much battery power is left. I also have a Back-UPS CS 500 for my other computer which works the same way.
