I encountered similar brokeness in various cups packages when doing an aptitude upgrade last night. I decided to hold anything cups related for the time being - not much help to you I know. I use KDE rather than Gnome but I do have a few gtk apps installed - so I guess you're right re: libcupsys2. > > Is this a long-term issue?
