I CVS'd the three grouping called for. Of course, the thing would not compile: The xc/xc/make was missing .h files which to indeed exist. (A common enough problem). I untarred the kernel source, updated the linux symlink, etc. No go The drm/linux/make fails on needing CONFIG_X86_CMPXCHG enabled in the kernel. I suppose I need a .config with this set.
