And a 80Gib Maxtor 6Y080L0, ATA DISK drive.
I can not get grub to work on this setup. Installing grub does not
produce any error messages but when I boot, grub hangs with one of the
messages like "Loading stage1.5" on the screen.
Lilo works on the system.
I have installed grub on many machines in the past - servers and
pc's. This is the first one I had no success with.
Does anyone know about a possible incompatibility between grub and
this hardware?
