it can't do modules, patches and version yet, so effectively, it is only a centralized repository for configs. i have that part working. i am not saying this is a bad package, just that it doesn't suit my needs yet. i'll work on it. in the meantime, maybe someone can tell me what to do about the /usr/src/modules and /usr/src/kernel-patches trees, which are owned by root. the last time i built a kernel as root must have been like 1876 or so... and at least kernel-patch-freeswan as well as pcmcia-modules want to change files in these trees during compilation. right now i rsync to a tempdir them before every build. is there a better way? -- .''`. martin f. krafft <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : :' : proud Debian developer, admin, and user `. `'` `- Debian - when you have better things to do than to fix a system
