If this does come about, then I buy the fastest dual-Hammer PCs I can find. This is presuming that, in their infancy, even if the Hammers do have DRM hooks, DRM can be disabled at the OS level by Linux. By then, if I can't be satisfied by home PCs that have 2 ~3GHz dual-Hammers, each w/ +1GB RAM and a TB or more of disk space (320GB Serial ATA HDDs will be shipping by then), then shame on me. -- +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ron Johnson, Jr. mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] | | Jefferson, LA USA http://members.cox.net/ron.l.johnson | | | | "What other evidence do you have that they are terrorists, | | other than that they trained in these camps?" | | 17-Sep-2002 Katie Couric to an FBI agent regarding the 5 | | men arrested near Buffalo NY | +------------------------------------------------------------+ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
