Make sure that is installed. I would try putting "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/PEX" in the font paths in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. I also saw some messages on this that recommend commenting out 'Load "pex5"' in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. -- Jerome
