Hi, I'm trying to get Oracle 8.1.7 to work on woody. It seems to install fine but I keep getting "ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE" errors while creating the starter database. This problem has been reported on a few other mailing lists, but the chief solution offered seems to be "run SUSE". I wonder if anyone has it running on woody, and if yes, what's the trick? TIA
