This is really more pertinent to the qmail list as a LWQ install of Qmail doesn't really follow Debian's structure. A good place to start would be your system logs. There should be some indication in them as to why the mail delivery failed. Usually it has to do with permissions on the deliverly location, permissions on the user's .qmail file (if present), or one of the control files indicating which domains Qmail is responsible for. The output of qmail-showctl may also be of use. There are Debian packages that will help you install Qmail in a Debianized fashion that will also stick with a good deal of how the LWQ guide suggests Qmail be configured. Additionally, this method removes a good deal of the pitfalls a manual installation can run into (such as your current situation). -- Jamin W.
