Hi, you have to compile your alsa-packages again every-time you upgrade or compile a new kernel. As root, go to the the base of the kernel source tree (usually the /usr/src/linux directory). To build the alsa modules, execute: make-kpkg --revision number modules_image. Then install the new alsa.deb with dpkg --install alsa.deb.
